Established in 1977 by first generation Cuban owner, Raul Garcia, Islas Canarias Restaurant has been serving the community with an unwavering commitment to authenticity and quality for over 40 years.

This family-owned business and legacy has been carried by Raul’s daughter, Nancy Andrade, whom has instilled the same quality and virtues into the fabric of her children Eileen (chef & owner FINKA TABLE AND TAP) and Jonathan Andrade.

Jonathan, creator of Islas Canarias Cuban Express and COO of Canarias Food Corp., is determined to bring the legacy into the next generation with the first of many Islas Canarias Cuban Express to Dadeland Mall.
